Question 1: What should I bring with me to meet with the notary?
Valid government-issued ID, the unsigned document, cash or credit/debit card to pay the fee.
Question 2: What is the notarization process?
The document is reviewed to ensure it explains the type of notarization required and conforms to the state's requirements. The notary verifies the identity of the signer(s). The notarization is then performed.
Question 3: What is the cost of notarizing a document?
Notarial fees are $10 principal signature.
Question 4: What is the cost for travel?
Travel fees are calculated based on the current federal mileage rate round-trip from our office to the signing location. The current mileage rate is 70 cents per mile.
